I. Ätiologie, Pathophysiologie und Diagnostik

Zusammenfassung

Ein- und/oder Durchschlafstörungen, frühmorgendliches Erwachen und daraus resultierende Beeinträchtigungen der Tagesbefindlichkeit sind als komorbide Störungen bei psychischen und organischen Erkrankungen sehr häufig. Die primäre bzw. psychophysiologische Insomnie als eigenständige Insomnieform ist weitaus seltener. Im Artikel wird ein Überblick über den diagnostischen Prozess bei insomnischen Störungen gegeben, zudem werden aktuelle neurobiologisch orientierte Modelle erläutert und diskutiert.
